Hi,

I'm Pragna, a User Researcher and Experience Design Strategist dedicated to translating complex human behaviors into strategic, actionable insights.
I specialize in research for systems that matter - energy equity, healthcare access, emerging technology adoption, and organizational innovation. Currently, I lead experience design research at Consumers Energy, where I work at the intersection of behavioral research, product strategy, and equitable service design.
My approach is rooted in curiosity: understanding not just what people do, but why and what that means for the products and services designed to serve them. I work across the full research lifecycle, from ambiguous generative inquiry through to evaluative testing and strategic recommendation.
I hold a Master of Design in Human-Computer Interaction from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and an undergraduate degree in Textile Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, India. My diverse background across cultures, industries, and disciplines is not incidental, it's central to how I research.
